Hello IVSA Members: This post is to ALERT everyone to several changes in our club activities.

1. The vintage ride for Elkhart has been cancelled due to no snow.

2. The vintage ride for Jan 29th. at Hoagland has been cancelled due to snow conditions.

3. A member meeting IS scheduled on Jan. 29th. at 1:00pm at the Hoagland Snowmobile Club's pavilion in Hoagland , Indiana. The pavilion is located in the Hoagland park. The address is 11320 Hoagland Road.

Vintage Ride - January 21st Cancelled

The vintage snowmobile ride that was scheduled for January 21st has been cancelled due to weather.

Dan Blaney Carries the Torch

Dan Blaney accepted the torch from the representative of the torch relay celebrating the 200 year anniversary of the State of Indiana. He carried the torch into North Newton High School football stadium on his RX-1 converted to this 3 wheeled motorcycle. The snowmobile has been designated a 2016 trike.

Vintage Club Raffle Winner

The winner of the Vintage Club raffle was Mark Wunderink, a ISA member and a member of the “Where are We’s” Snowmobile Club. He is a resident of Lowell, IN.

Mark won a 1980 Kawasaki Intruder Snowmobile.

ISA Special Membership Board Meeting

As you know, your ISA Board of Directors has been working diligently in search for new board members to complete the 9 board positions. This is normally done during our annual membership meeting but was delayed last December due to special circumstances. We are now prepared to fill the open positions with candidates from most all ISA Clubs. To make this happen we need to have a special ISA membership meeting on August 18, 2016 at 7:00 PM at the Streamliner Restaurant in Rochester, IN.

Planning Ahead

Indiana Vintage Snowmobile Association is planning ahead for 2017. We are confident that we are going to have a good winter with snow and freezing temperatures! We have rides scheduled for Sunday January 22, 2017 at Hoagland Snowmobile trail; Saturday January 28, 2017 the Elkhart trails; Saturday February 4, 2017 Winterfest at North Webster. (If there is insufficient snow we will ride on the lake if it is frozen).
